Hi, all
I am the very proud owner of the Rubystone red 965 legend has posted on the forum.I know this colour isn't to everyones taste but its a RS colour and I wanted to make a wdebody rsr lookalike so that car ticked all the boxes for me.I have seen lots of flash photogrophy of my car and it makes the Rubystone look like the Ken and Barbie machine very pink! but as all the RS boys know its a lot darker in real life MY PINK CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS my 911 sc is white and very standard,,,,,

It's nice to see a different color every now and then. The one in that pic looks like Colin's (38D) car.

It is Colin/38D's car. It was Jerry Greene's up until this year (that's Jerry ahead of me at Road America last year). Coincidentally, that's 38D behind me in the picture in his now-sold C2 Turbo.

I forgot that Colin had bought that car. I finally met him @ Barber last month.

PS: I think that's one of our Southern boys, Wally Ruiz, two cars back behind Colin (red RSA w/yellow wheels). Great gathering of 964s in that shot!

Glad to hear Colin sold the turbo. I have to admit when I saw Colin's car done in the original Livery it looked much better in person than in the pictures. It is a much darker color than most pictures show it. I would own it Best part, if it goes up for sale my wife would be OK with it because she likes the color too.

wardp,

I like your painted wheel. Did you do it? How were you able to mask the lip to get an even and circular edge?

I bought the wheels already painted. Whoever did them did a good job though. I wasn't sure I liked them at first but they have grown on me.

Gone back to my D90's for better ride and more feel. They were rough, so I painted them with flat black antistonechip paint. No more brake dust worries now..
