From the image text - “With the objective of reducing drag to cd 0.35, a study intended to pave the way for future vehicle aerodynamics was launched in 1984 on the basis of a 911 Carrera 3.2. With a range of measures including flush windows, lowered headlights, a modified front and end, rim covers, and a flat underbody, the results exceeded all expectations. Including the rear wing on the engine compartment lid, the drag coefficient of the vehicle was reduced to cd 0.272. Many of these ideas were implemented in the 911 generation 964 which was launched in 1988.”

Hi 911Jetta, again perfect photography! Those curves are unmatched.
My workmate and me went to the local "beetle-meet" this sunday - i creeped in under the radar
