The Spyder is a conundrum - a fantastically entertaining car, rewarding to drive and a real credit to what the modern Porsche company can produce. Yet, for all that, it fails to get under my skin like a 964: it is just a machine. It's a machine that is perfectly matched to its purpose, but without a soul.

Hi,
This is my first post. I’m the new owner of this RS. It is a sport model and I just bought it from a good friend. This is my second 911, I had a Carrera 3,2 for 8 years before this one. Now it’s cold in Sweden and winter is coming soon so no more driving this year. But I did a trip to the Ring in September. It was like coming home for the RS. I thought this thread was a good place to say hi.
