I'm going to drop the 964 to Camtune in the next week to get the clutch sorted.
However I've noticed a couple of other issues.... The car appears to be pulling to the left when I accelerate and then to the right when I step off the gas (sorry being American )
Also when I shut either door there is a metallic bang (well noise) which comes from the engine bay.
not too sure about the car pulling but the metallic noise from the engine bay is nothing to worry about. There was a mail about this recently, something to do with when the heater is on then a flap in the blower/heater system which is in use opens and closes as the doors shut making the small metallic flap noise in the engine the bay. In this cold weather, with the heaters on people seem to be noticing this more than in the summer......
Really? Mine says 44 rear 36 front on the sticker in the engine bay. Was that only for the D90s? It's had 17" Cup IIs for a long time.
Yes, that ping pong ball sound when closing the door is strange isn't it.
I had the same "pulling" problem and it was the tires. Try switching them side to side, and the problem with switch sides with the tires. New tires cleared it up.
It was the tyre pressure! I had 14 psi in the nearside read and 24 on the offside! They're both sitting in at 36 and the car is flying, well kinda... Booking in next week for the clutch!
