Brown brought me a nice pre-xmas present today: Dansk g-pipe. I can't wait to install it in the next couple days. I will post pictures when I finish up.

Mine sounded loud the first time out in it. Every trip after it sounds quieter and quieter. Maybe my hearing is getting use to the mellody

I feel that way about the drilled airbox. Man, I can't believe how big that change was, I can't wait to try this one. I know a lot of people have done this mod before, and it's probably not that exciting. But to me, all of this stuff is new and very exicting.

"it's probably not that exciting"

You won't say that the first time you drive it

G-Pipe is a nice mod as it's just a little louder than stock but substantially less than a Fabspeed. Wait until you feel how heavy the secondary is that you will be removing, car will be a lot faster!

I completed the install in about 30 minutes. It was easy. My chief mechanic (my brother) and I went for a drive. We started laughing at how awesome this modification was for $150. I didn't really notice any HP gains, but the new sound is intoxicating. I love the new idle sound with it's bass note, and under WOT it sounds just amazing. I started the car in the garage, and went to go get my wallet for the drive. I could hear the car through the walls! I have not weighed the old muffler, but I will do so (I have a spreadsheet created to track my weight loss), but I am sure it's at least 30lbs if not 50lbs saved.

I love mods like this, simple to the point, and effective. Great fun. Now for a cat bypass!

Cool, thanks.

Placing order... wait! Where did you end up buying the pipe?
Best I found so far was with Performance Products (no affil.) for $155.

The secondary muffler is about 18-20 lbs.
