You'll need to contact a Carillo dealer to find out pricing for off the shelf connecting rods such as the 964 replacement rods. Mine needed to be custom since the dimensions were different so they are a little bit more.

You'll also want to contact Colin at Ninemeister www.ninemeister.com to talk with him about the billet cylinder heads. They are expensive, however, they are less than Porsche charges for their bare cylinder head. Looking at what is available and the benefits of using a cylinder head that has a better (optimized) port design, better cooling, stronger alloy, more rigidity where the cylinder meets the head, outweighed the cost for me. I'll see if I can post some pictures later.

One thing I do after everything is balanced at the machinist, is pair the heavy rods with the light pistons and vice versa then put the assemblies that are closest in weight to each other opposite each other in the engine.

Probably chasing hairs, since when the engine is running the whole thing turns to an oil soaked mess that looks like a load of taffy in a taffy machine.

I had my bill out looking for other info tonight and see that I paid $1290.43 for the carrillo rods. I don't see the rod bolts but I know we talked about 9 mm ARP bolts.

You were probably talking about the 9mm ARP bolts as a replacement bolt in the stock rods. The Carrillo rods most likely came with 3/8 Carr bolts. $1290.43 is a good price for the connecting rods, it is below dealer cost.
