Engine compartment Labels-Where does it go ?
Hi all,
I just up-dated some of those old engine labels for Firing order, Tyre Pressure and Engine Oil check. The mechanic handed me another one from Porsche on for Valve Clearance Cold 9 with an illustration, gold mettalic colour. Does anyone have this label and where its positioned. I don't remember seeing this one anywhere in my engine bay. Part number 901.006.503.00
Cheers, Mark

That's an interesting query: I've been thinking of updating all the labels scattered around my 1990 C4 with new ones, have have no idea where to start re. parts numbers etc. Does anyone know of a resource focusing on labels, or can provide the right parts numbers?
Cheers

My 964 does not have the same engine look as the one posted by Rushjob
Sorry, have I missed something in translation here?

Mine looks like yours Geoff. The decal next to the tire size on mine says how to check the oil. Dont have the one to the left of the latch on the back panel. Oil and firing order are on the plastic motor parts. No valve adjustment ones.

Re-asking the following earlier question: does anyone know where to get some of the gold foil type oil servicing and tire pressure data tags from as the dealer only sell the silver paper versions? Specifically looking for the oil level tag: 964-006-111-00 in gold foil. Ordered it from Pelican and also rec'd the silver version.
Thanks,
Mitch
