Default AC Receiver/Drier Part Number?

My AC needs to be recharged and I am planning on going to R134 for my 1991 C4, which I know from previous posts requires a new receiver/drier. Pelican parts lists this as Part # 934-573-143-00 for $113.00. Vertex lists it as Part # 934-573-943-00 for $49.00. Sunset Porsche quoted $206 and a wait for this part. Does anyone know which is the correct part number or if the less expensive (cheaper) part listed by Vertex will work? I have also read somewhere that a VW receiver/drier is identical and costs considerably less then the Porsche part. Thanks for the help.

My invoice from last year says 964-573-943-00, list $278 CDN at a dealer - there's a Honda one that fits too, IIRC. There's a discussion somewhere about which way one of the fittings faces being a possible issue - I didn't do this myself so can't help much, I'm afraid. I just noticed that the high and low pressure valves have 928 part numbers, at least on my bill - 928-573-965-03 (high) and -02 (low) - ~$85 CDN each. Hope this helps. Edit: I see now that Garrett found the thread I was trying to remember, below. Sorry for any duplication.
