Inspired by Jaime who to this day still regrets selling his Vesuvio C2S I thought it would be interesting to find out what you regret most when it comes to P-cars you've owned or almost bought?
I still don't understand how I was able to sell my 964 C4 with barely 30.000 miles on the clock. A first owner car with full leather and every possible other option. With three small kids I was finding no time to drive or enjoy it so one day I decided to put it in the newspaper. Two days later I was staring at an empty spot in my garage Now, two years later, I bought nearly the same one to fill the void. I also regret my 53 Packard Clipper which I bought in Tampa and got married in but that's another story...

I Exxonned the parking lot at K-mart the day after I bought my first 911, a 1970 911T. I checked the dipstick before driving, and it was bone dry. Drove to K-mart with eyes glued to the oil pressure, ready to kill the engine at the first flicker. Proceeded to rapidly add the oil that I purchased, just sure it would take a gallon or more just to get up to the dipstick......
Luckily the early 911s don't gum up the intake when you overfill the oil tank, and of course the engine stayed oily anyway.

Hey I sold a 92 750 iL and 93 Rx-7 Racing Package to buy my 97 C2S . I wish I had kept the Rx-7 . Also , will never buy another Porsche without PPI . Screwed up by too many " gentlemen " before on the true state and history of the vehicle .

Kris, I had the same deal - 3 kids, no time. In fact, after about a one year love affair, I was ready to sell. Good thing I'm so damn lazy - I never did, and now I'm through that "gotta get rid of it" stage and well into a lasting, monogomous relationship!

There are some really good sides to lazyness, Rick. Now that the kids are getting older and the house is finished I made it my goal to discover all of them
That made me laugh John. Tx, I needed that after a dreadful nightshift.
I once spun a 944 with my mother on board!
This was more than a decade ago and she hasn't stop shaking yet!
She made a strange wailing sound too, IIRC.

Stupidest thing was not buying the '62 Roadster new (and keeping it) for $3,200. Also pretty stupid selling my '61 Karmen hard top and my '67 912 soft window Targa (way too cool).
