Post Alloy pedals

Hi

I have some drilled alloy pedals to fit and they have an optional rubber tread pad that pokes through the drilled holes for extra grip.

Has anyone fitted something similar, are the pedals slippery without the optional rubber pad fitted.

Thanks Rob

I have the aluminum brake and clutch covers on my car and they tend to be very slippery when wet...at least with sneakers, I don't know about with driving shoes. Otherwise they are fine in the dry.

FWIW it is rumoured that MOT laws will change soon, may have done so already, making it illegal to have pedals which do not have rubber grips.

Could you name and shame the outlet you bought them from, the ones I've looked at so far don't mention any optional rubber pads.

thanks

Hi Kevin

I bought them from Demon Tweeks, they are the BMW style with the long go fast pedal (£35 App).

They came with the pads but you can fit with or without, your choice.
