Well – it looks like the weather is going to be kind to us. Forecast is sunny but not too hot for both Saturday and Sunday.
If anyone – particularly 964 owners – feels at a loose end this coming weekend (11th/12th June) you are cordially invited to John Miles’ spectacular (well- poetic licence) 964 weekend.
We currently have close on 25 cars committed for the Saturday and we have planned a fun get together from 11am with coffee and photo shoots, a convoy drive across Dartmoor to the National Trust property of Drogo Castle for lunch, a free afternoon for a bit of whatever takes your fancy and a REALLY fun barbeque and riverside camp fire sing song (if you feel so inclined) for the evening into the wee small hours.
Sunday promises an excellent day courtesy of Garry Steele and his team at Region 15 PCGB at the Dart River Adventure Park Concours event. Park entry is, I believe, £3.50 per car and will gain entry to all the Parks attractions as well as the displays from a variety of car clubs (and Harley Davidson bikes I believe), the Register Displays and the Concours itself. There is a £10 competitors entrance fee for the Concours which is open to PCGB members only.
It all promises a really good weekend for any Porsche-file – bring the partners and kids too.
If you haven’t already registered (although it’s not entirely necessary) just follow the link below.
Regards
Dave

Mmmmmmm...... just thinking about this. Maybe I might be attracting the wrong audience with my last post!!
Just come and have a great time. I'm looking forward to seeing you both.
Regards
Dave
BTW Christer, were you going to try to meet up on the way down. Current plan is to meet around 1:00 - 2:00pm at the Little Chef on the A303 at Longparish just after the A34/A303 junction. It's on the eastbound so you have to turn around up the road.

I'm looking to leave North Manchester around 2.00pm at the latest as the route finder says it is 282 miles to Ashburton, surely we must be a contenter for the longest journey to John's without the use of a plane or boat!!
Should get in the area around 6.00/7.00pm dependant on traffic, the M6 roadworks, any M5 roadworks, etc....
