hey guys, well after 2 weeks knowing that my primary is out, i finally took some time today and tried to do some surgery. well thats how it looks in there.
now here is when i had a blonde moment, i took 2 of the 3 screws out, but the last one was just impossible to take out, i ended up messing it out bad bad
now i dont know how the hell iam going to get it. and to make things worst, while trying to do that, the top of my screw driver fell inside, yes inside one of the little openings.
man iam so stressed now iam tearing my hear apart.
now anyone can recommend what i should do, how am i going to get out of this mess. also is that oil in the picture normal???
the cap looked like it was just replaced , so i dont think thats the sourse of my problem. so the hell can it be ??

ok, i got the screw. thats good, now i have no idea why i was taking them out. i guess i wanted to see whats in there.
anyway, what do you guys think is wrong with my primary, everything looks fine, but its not working

Judging from the posts inside the distributor cap, you need a new cap. While you're at it, replace both caps & both rotors.

well the car is running fantastic now. i will worry about a tune up in few months

That cap doesnt look too bad - It's about the same as mine and mine's only done 10K. There's no tracing - so it looks like it's distributing the spark without high resistance.

If the Primary Distributor isn't working (at all), then I'd start suspecting the coils. Do they both generate spark?

oh thanks, i alreay found the problem, the stupid mechanic never connected the primary to the coil. i found the switch half way in.
now iam back in business.
