I think I'd give my left ******** for that silver one. Normally I really like yellow, but I am not too crazy about that one, maybe its the shade of yellow or something.

Howard- that site is the only one I can get to from work, so I have to endure that site until I get home- then the REAL fun begins.

Ditto. The Yellowbird was my first real P car fascination. I had that Road and Track issue back in high school where it blew all those other cars away and was left wanting a 911 from that moment on. It's going to be in Hershey in June; I'd love to see it in person.
And those wheels. I like those "old" 17s better than the modern Ruf 18s and 19s. I guess they're impossible to find.

I too had that article in high school and salivated over that car (and the 959 test drive articles of that time period).

Hey Guy's.......We had a visit from Alois Ruf.....here on the California Central Coast RGN/PCA....He brought "Yellowbird" CTR1 along with a CTR2 . It was a breakfast meeting....a video of "The Bird" in action....ripping thru the country road's w/tire's smokin...still tough enough today. Here are a few Pic's.
