As a Porsche lover, it is a thread like this one that makes ownership worth the expense, if that's possible. Thomas, thanks for asking the question and Adrian and others, thanks for your informative and entertaining responses. I can't think of another car maker that generates such interest in its history.

My P-car is tucked away in a carcapsule until the bears awake from hibernation, so, as many here in N. America will attest to, winter blahs have taken root. The Rennlist forum helps us survive.
