There are one or two good articles here somewhere that show which wires go to which wires. One of the wires coming from the car is spliced into two wires, I believe, on both sides... So you can evenly match up the wiring. Sorry... I don't have the diagram... I'll search... I need to hook mine up too.

HINT - You should also search under "teardrop" mirrors.

Ruairidh posted a great "how-to" on this a few years beck with the help of a few others... I've just search all his posts but they only go back to 2004... not 2002. Phil Raby's PDF file is, for some reason, blanked out where the wiring match-up is shown.

I made some detailed notes about wire colours to connect when I did mine last month. They are filed in my garage and I can post them later today when I get home. I looked at Phil Raby's article but my wires did not match (he listed green, brown, etc. - some of these colours I did not have).

Thanks Rick and Marc
Marc
It would be very helpful to see your notes. I have the car in the garage for this reason over a month I just want to take it out as soon as possible with the mirrors mounted.

Thanks

Here is how I wired mine. I noticed that my wire colours are a little different than yours.....mine were original Porsche mirrors too so I"m not sure if they just picked wire colours at random or what.

Hope this helps.....Marc

Marc saves the day again! Thanks for posting this... I though I had copied it to a document previously but I couldn't find it. I copied it and saved it this time!
