Default Back on 17s

Hi Guys,

Back on 17s today. I got 'em refurbed they look as good as new. The car is running 10 times faster and also the ABS appears to be working again.

I decided to run with the 15mm spacers on the back. Looks much nicer (wheels sit in the arch. I also got new rubber on the rear - P Zero's ofcourse. It appears the new tyres come with a larger tyre protector. Not sure I like it though, it reminds me of Toyo Proxys.

Anyways will sort some pics tomorrow morning.

Cheers

Sunil

Explains quite nicely why there should be no difference in 18-17 wheels, providing the correct aspect ratio is chosen.......there is a comparison guide to help make these choices as well.

Might be useful to anyone else thinking of 18"s.

Only joking, Just remember to keep them clean now they've been refurbed, I use either Rejex or Zymol to keep the cr@p at bay...

As we have all said, providing that you run the correct tyre sizes then there is no problem with rolling diameter - although if you prefer the 17's and you are happy - thats the main thing!
