Three Wheelin'
My ex hated the first 911, prob casuse I put our child in it. My current and last GF like the P cars. They were both taught to drive stick early on in life, and can drive them just fine. I encourage her to drive it to the store here and there as to keep the love alive for them. Its all good as long as they don't use the sun visors. Women...

Drifting
Both wife and daughter love the 964.
Someone say Jeep? Had a few CJs and YJs. Still have the TJ and now a JKUR which I am currently building. Sold my Hemi LJ on 40s and bought the 964 with $ to spare for mods. Round lights FTW!

My fiance loves the 964. Was not into cars at all when we met but has a new appreciation for them and in particular Porsches.
She will send me photos of Porsches she sees on the street and told me last night that she prefers the sound of our 964 than our neighbours 72 911E!
I try to be considerate with the time working on the car and if I need some weekend time to work, I let her know a week in advance so she can make other entertainments plans.
I have been told to stop talking about Porsches on three occasions: once when i was looking to buy (a long time), and twice when the car has been off the road for more than 3 weeks.
She loves coming for long and twisty drives into the hills, despite the fact she got car sick once.
Although she does request that we take her car if she is hungover (too bouncy in the 964).
I'm pretty happy with my arrangements and girl, consider myself to be very fortunate.

Other than that, she's good with the 911. I had a '76 when we met (25+ years ago) & she liked going for drives. Now after 15 year without one, she was just as excited as me to get into another one. Gotta love that!

[QUOTE=gavonder;13047578]That's so funny about the visors. I just had a conversation about this with my wife. I hate getting into one of the cars after she's been driving - she always leaves the visor down
she's getting even for you leaving the toilet seat up

Race Car
Mine. I bought my car just as we began to date. She thought me "showy" for buying a 911 as my only car. She got over that in a week and has loved it ever since.
Truth be known, if she didn't like t we wouldn't have continued to date. Not because she has to like it in order for me to like her...but because if she didn't like it she wouldn't, therefore, be any fun.
Now I call her wife, and she is continually telling me we should move from this house and buy one with a four car garage and a lift.
She is now eligible to have children with 50% my dna.

I had 3 (1965 356SC, 1972 911T Targa w/2.7RS spec, 1985.2 944 1 of 7 factory iMSA Firehawk car) when we started dating. She worked in Corp Treasury and started driving the 944 as a DD. Car was as it came off the track at the end of its competition life. Full cage, 6 point harness, window net, full locked rearend, no A/C from the factory, no sunroof, no undercoat or sound deadening. She used to love to drive it when taking bankers to lunch, she had climbing in over the cage down to an art. And she drove it like she stole it.
BTW I now have 11, the 944 is gone but added two 964's and a GT3 plus '69E, '72S.

lots of great porsches in the DFW area. ever bring anything to C&C or other get togethers?

Yes, I've had the 356SC, 911E, 964C4, and the GT3 to C&C. I usually make Mayo's third Sat C&C and the DFW Porsche C&C when it does not conflict with other events. If you are out and about you should stop by the Garages of Texas just off Plano Parkway, just west of the mall. Folks are starting to hang out there as they get their garages built out.
