Welcome and congratulations. Plenty of Australians out here. Just run a detailed search on 'Australia' in the 964 forum and you'll get plenty of threads.

Welcome, David P! We're not all Aussies, but please do post some pictures of your new baby! If there's one thing you'll learn about this site, it's that we love pictures.

Fine bike you have there Youcef. Friend of mine who has a Vesuvio C2S lives a few 100 meters away from the factory which is by the way in an old 18th century farmhouse. You wouldn't believe that some of t he finest bicycles in the world are actually produced in there.
Bye

Thankyou all for your welcome, yes this is my first Porsche. Its Guards Red with a Black interior. The only digital picture I currently have is one taken by the previous owner.
Picture of David's 964 C4
The car is currently beiing serviced at Weltmeister in Melbourne. They were having a photo shoot this morning so I couldn't take any pictures. On the plus side my car should appear in their marketing material. As soon as it comes back from being detailed I post some shots.
I know the first owner of the car, who had it for 13 years. he did some sprints in it and I think he also did a Targa Tasmaina too with it, although you couldn't tell by looking at it. Its been well serviced and had a complete engine rebuild a few years ago. The second owner who I bought it from also looked after the servicing well.
The only modifications are: splightly lowered suspension; a stifter rear anti-roll bar; mono steering wheel and a sports exhaust. It still has the orginal radio casette play in it. The paintwork is showing its age, but I'm having it detailed next week.
I have bought Adrian's excellent book, I found this site and the book through John Mile's site: http://www.porsche964.co.uk/
I'm glad to hear there are lots of other Australian owners on this forum, are any of the Melbourne members in the Porsche Club of Victoria. I'm wanting to do some track days with my new toy.

Dear David,
You will find that most of the Aussies on the forums are actually ex-pats living elsewhere.
There is Kevin Ross who lives in Melbourne. You will find him on the 964 Turbo forum.
I am sure there are many lurkers who still live at home but they do not post.
Ciao,
Adrian.

Adrian,
I have to confess that I was born in the UK and only became an Australian Citizen in the last 3 months. I've been living in Melbourne for the last 5 years and throughly enjoying it.
