Has anyone bought paint for their car in an aerosol before?
I'm not attempting to paint anything that is on show, but i do have some parts beneath the side sill trim that i want to coat and repaint (the trim has rubbed the paint off back to bare metal...)

I had some mixed up a couple weeks ago to paint my basket handel spoiler. Its Sherwin Williams Ultra 7000. The number on it is B7-6904 00 Grand Prix White. Dont know if that will help. Wasnt a spray can. Matches pretty good.

Hey KB, I think we have Twinkie cars.
I just ordered an aerosol can of Grand Prix white paint. My third brake light needs repainted, I thought I would give the spray can a try before I paid a body shop to do it. I am going to paint it this weekend I think, I'll let you know how it turns out.

I too have a grand prix white cab and looking for paints to spray the basket handle and aero mirrors. Do you know if 90-91 paints are 1-stage or 2-stage?. Thanks for your help. Andy

Andy,
I ordered my touch up paint from www.paintscratch.com Its a base coat/clear coat touch up paint (base paint & clear coat paint). I haven't tried it yet, but I have used them in the past on another vehicle and it turned out great.
Good Luck

Mine also was 2 stage. I mixed and sprayed at home. Came out real good. Still cost almost $90 for 1 pt of paint, hardner and clear coat. Took hardly any paint to do the basket handel. Might be not much more to send it out.
