Hello,

Did anyone heard or seen anything from the probably richest guy in Memphis lately.

You know who I mean, the one with the 964 Cab [red], 996 Turbo, Cayenne etc.....
Did he ran out of money by toing hughe investments in his 964, or is he just busy as a lawer..............?

You mean Doug H? It's easy for me to remember his name because you always referred to him as "dough", which is what you make bread out of. Maybe he has been modifying his 996TT and spending time on that board?

Exactly, that's the one I ment. It just came up in my not seeing him around for a while. Quit interesting all the mods and the huge amount of spending money. Let's hope he will come back soon with new updates.

Doug hasnt posted since mid-july. I sent him an email last week to say drop us a line but he didnt respond. I miss reading about all the daring cosmetic mods to the red cab!!!!

I hope all is ok. I know he was addicted to pushing his cars and getting the most performance out of them (remember the G-tech scores).

Doug, if your out there drop-in & say "hi" to your friends on the 964 board!!!!!!!!!

Yes....... a 997 is may be what his new toy could be, but at least he could heave let us know and show the pictures of it. May be he will respond soon overhere............

I think he went elsewhere for advice, because most of you guys said 'oh yeah, that looks good Doug', and 'I don't think thats too much red Doug' - he just wanted an honest opinion for a change! Either that or he is travelling around Europe hunting down the elusive lesser spotted Lenz(*).

(*) = Lenz - a small furtive tuner who was last seen in 2001 in Germany, and is rumoured to do good work with Porsches. Lenzes are known to occasionally send emails, but rarely during daylight hours.

I was not one of those who liked the red taste of Dough. But seriously, I was very shocked by the way he spended mony on the 964. Looked if he has a tree behind his house with Dollars growing on it. Once a day he walked to the tree and collected a few thousand buck to spend on the car[s].

Taste is a difficult subject, so I believe a lot of people liked the mods to his car, but most of us didn't I guess.

Let's hope he will return to the workld of Rennlist.
