Default Getting sorted - gradually!!!

Having got my 964 in January it's been through a few months of problems and it seems has been away more than it's been with me. However, it's back now and (mostly) sorted - so I thought a bit of shameless promotion wouldn't go amiss. Shown here at a recent Silverstone F1 test day I'm really pleased how it's all coming together.

Sorry to mess everybody about. I've changed the original link so it now works!! I couldn't get the image file small enough to upload in the post.

Nice. Wide body with a very particular front bumper. First time I see one like that. Looks like you have yellow details in the interior as well.

You have to show a few more photos of your car.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the very positive comments!! When I was about to buy this car I was so concerned that being pretty non-standard many Porsche owners would take a dim view of it. Still, it impressed me and I guessed I was the one who needed to be impressed - so I bought it. Since then almost everybody who has commented about it has made nothing but positive noises.

If anyone is interested to see some more of the history and pictures I have a web site dedicated to the work. It's a bit of a "work-in-progress" so it's fairly dynamic but follow the link to here and you can see more.

Best regards

Dave

It looks like the Strosek kit!
Gorgeous!
The paint must have been very difficult, since you repainted everything!
Did you remove the interior, glass, and motor?

Very interesting.

Well spotted Greg - it IS a Strosek look-alike. The body kit is supplied by Pro-9 in the UK and the design is based on a Strosek design.

The paintwork was done by the supplying dealer in Cornwall. The glass was stripped out although the engine was left in place (hence the white bits left in the engine bay). Otherwise though there are only a few small tell-tale signs.

The seats were removed since they were re-trimmed (at least partially) although I think that was at a different time to the respray.

I'm glad you like it.

Regards

I'm at the point where I'm so tempted to just widen my ride and give it a fresh new color...

I really love that look. So aggressive and sexy

If you have more pics, please humor us!!!

Cheers,

Greg

I saw your car at G-Force when collecting mine recently Dave; I have to say that it is an absolute cracker..!

I love the look of the wide body conversion and the yellow, sorry I should say YELLOW really sets it off.
