more like 9-12 months. I started documenting when I took delivery and just kept adding to the file. I am rotating between 5 other projects, and jump on and off where progress permits, in terms of parts ordered/special tooling etc. The projects are so wildly different it's almost incomprehensible. A chopped 33 Ford with a blown flathead, a 31 Model A with a built flathead, and a blown flathead, a Roadking classic full restoration with an overbored 103" S&S kit, a BMW R1200c, and a nut and bolt restoration of a Triumph 750 Bonneville. I have forum threads on each build. I was a little hesitant to post here due to the many keyboard warriors who can't change their oil but have a lot to say about others. I don't mind constructive criticism, but pure jealousy, ignorance and hate is just not called for. Whenever I post something, or reply to a post, I make damn sure I know of what I'm speaking of; further I give the person the benefit of the doubt that they may have considered the OP's position. Anyhoo, thanks for the words! and the engine did take 3 days to drop and get to where it is!

I think you’ll find that the majority (not all) posters on Rennlist are going to provide genuine recommendations that are in your best interest to make it a reliable restoration. For example on the fan, yes magnesium can be welded but will that weld and the metal around it hold up when that fan is spinning at very high RPM’s?
I’m looking forward to seeing more progress and pictures and thanks for posting here!
