Default Power steering line

Would appreciate some advice. The crimps on the power steering return line have quite a lot of corrosion. No signs of leaking. Should I leave well alone or replace it?
TIA
Steve

I would recommend treating that with kid gloves in other words try not to disturb it in any way until you can secure suitable, replacements it's not if it will leak its when ...

I wouldn't touch it, barely look at it the wrong way.

thanks for the reply. So do you think it’s just a matter of time before it fails?
thanks

It's power steering so even if you get a leak eventually- maybe years down the road- it won't be a catastrophic loss of functionality. Your steering will still work. It's not like you are losing a brake line. I would leave it alone until it leaks or if you a total restoration at some point with everything out.

How does your steering feel? Do you know it is functioning properly now?

This is actually something I have wondered about as I've never driven a different 964. What indicates whether PS is operating correctly? Mine does not return to straight when releasing after a turn. This would be part of the decision to take action on the hoses.

The steering is all fine. It’s just that the car is up on the ramp for the winter suspension overhaul and trying to answer a “while you’re in there” question
