@delanobe Unless you want to replace this whole thing with my system, you would need a new shaft. Alternatively, you can reverse the ends of it. In other words, take the plastic part on the other end apart, remove the shaft, and flip it around. Also, you can potentially weld on some metal and file away the excess to match the original shape.

 

I actually cut the end of that off with a dremel with no issues.
I tried adding solder on it, but no luck, but works fine..

Though rebuilding the gearbox, well thats another story..
