Default The Ultimate Driving Machine

After a patient long search I finally found my Ultimate Driving Machine.

It is a 1991 964 C2 5 speed coupe with NO Sunroof.

A brief description:

-new paint job
-new custom leather interior (will repaint silver trim pieces back to black)
-front RS shocks
-rear bilstein shocks
-OMP front strut brace
-993 clutch (very stiff clutch pedal)
-short shifter
-big red brake upgrade
-custom complete header exhaust (no heat exchangers)

The car drives absolutely phenemonal! It revs freely, brakes firmly and corners and rides like a brand new track car. I can't think of another car that delivers such a wonderful raw seat of the pants driving experience. I consider this a true drivers car where you need to work it hard to extract its full potential. Powering out of low speed corners you feel the front end grabbing for traction......that's the fun stuff. Nothing wrong with Porsche turbos but there's a certain magic to powering up thru the gears of a fine running and breathing N/A Porsche air cool six....

The best part of the equation is knowing that you are approaching RS performance at half the price.

I've owned and driven many cars and have no hesitation in stating that this is one Porsche that I will like to keep for a lifetime.

I like to post some pictures, can someone help me upload them?

If you want to email a couple to me at andy.roe@bowne.com I'll try and upload a couple for you. Make sure they are all under 200K each as otherwise they won't work!!

The paint is so perfect right now I just want to put it in my living room and leave it there on display. Because I know after a few high spirited runs with my P and F buddies will cause the inevitable stone chips.

It does not get any better than this for me......

Very nice, like the seats, really compliment the interior nicely.

whatever you do for a living...are you hiring? I love the car top to bottom its a beautiful example of the car we all love.
Question, the silver accents are those painted mat silver or are they cast in that color plastic?

Thanks guys.

Jason-the silver trim pieces are painted a shiny silver finish, I'm looking to paint black again.
