My fault - I should have said my Raven S are in production.

My only complaint with the Flat6 units is a loose contact that I have in one of the headlamps. On three occasions now I’ve driven home and found a headlight out. That’s why I’ve gotten so good at swapping the headlights in and out.
Assembly: the H4 lenses are way easier to install than the clear ones. I did both this past weekend, and the clear ones were a struggle for me. The H4s went in just like the instructional video on the Rennlist site.

I had 2 loose contacts out of four lights. The central pin on the H5 harness plug was too short both times. Took me half-an-hour poking around with a multimeter to figure that out. Might take less time for those who actually know how to use a multimeter.

Thanks for sharing your results! Are those using their LED kit? Did you try the H3 fog light bulbs by any chance?

There are two adjustment screws on the H5 headlight assembly that correspond to the plastic plugs on the outer trim ring. One adjusts vertical and the other horizontal. One is on top and the other on the side.

Daniel Stern Lighting gives a good overview of the aiming procedure: https://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

I did buy the fogs too but they do not fit in the fog buckets.

hey I’ve just bought a 964 and based on a recommendation, asked the garage to put in led bulbs. I’ve been looking at the carbone lights, almost 2k. Are they a lot better and is it a quick plugin? Thanks

Don't want to hijack this thread...but...is there any mechanism to do away with the ridiculous, multiple springs to hold the headlight in. I must have tried for hours with them pinging everywhere then the headlight not seating properly. Please tell me there is a better way.

I don't drive at night much but did the other day and although my upgraded H4 and bulbs are not bad, if the Rennline LEDs do away with the fitting issues I'd be interested.

Haha- I know what you mean about those clips. File a little V in the tip of a flat blade screwdriver and use that to both install and remove them. Gets easier with practice....

Did you investigate the aim of your new bulbs? I'm curious to hear if you have any further updates as I'd be willing to try these out and spend the money on other things. I like the 9Eleven Ravens quite a bit but its hard to justify the cost. Something like this may just be a temporary stop-gap, though.

Raven S in production and eventually on the way.... We'll see how difficult it is for this novice to install. =)
