This may come across the wrong way, but I cannot give "weekly emails" to update a client or clients when there is NO UPDATE. When I say I will update you as soon as I have more information or when your wheels are ready, I will. I always do. I deliver. Period.

Yeah, Buyer beware of Covid and all of the supply chain issues it’s caused!!!!

This really shouldn’t be a reflection on the guys reselling the products (and spec’in perfect custom offsets in Dave’s case).

I’ve dealt with Dave/Butzigear many times and he’s always gone above and beyond for his clients. BBS has been having significant delays, just like a majority of manufacturers. Unfortunately the resellers always get stuck in the middle. It’s a crappy place to be. Waiting sucks too but it’s unfortunately the world we live in these days.

Glad to hear that BBS finally delivered. He’s gunna love his wheels, that’s for sure! Hoping to see some pics! Enjoy.

I just got my E88 wheels in from Vivid Racing last week. It looks like Butzi is reaching out to you too regarding your wheels. I also noticed you are also in DFW, maybe once wheels are on we can meet up a PCA meet or do a BBS shoot lol.

We have had clients place their orders Spring/Summer of this year and have just started to receive a few shipment manifests that have allowed these sets to be completed about a week ago.

However, I would consider these customers very lucky. We also have numerous other E88 centers on order going onto month 12. It’s just a luck of the draw and the ETA is largely dependent on what centers and specs the build requires. There are hundreds of centers and each set is bespoke and built to order. Many popular centers command the sort of ETA that are discussed in this thread, however there is no way to tell until the parts show up and are sorted.

As many other vendors have mentioned, the ETAs are out of our control and one can only continue to hope and pray theirs comes soon. It’s frustrating but in the end, the wait is well worth it.

Yeah I’m still waiting on my silver faced set but it’s only been 6 months. I probably won’t start getting antsy until the spring.

As an update for those curious, I ordered my E88's on July 20th and they are shipping today. Just under 6 months. My sales rep told me that orders he's getting today are being quoted for October. Good luck to those waiting, and remember that these distributors and sales reps have little control or insight into what's going on in Germany. They are as much in the dark as we are as customers.

Couldn't have said it better. We spoke with our friends at Motorsport just earlier this week and we are anticipating Sept-Oct for all new orders now, tentatively...

We're in November - was this estimate accurate? What's the current lead on E88s?

I'm in the market for wheels but I HATE the idea of floating my money and decision out there for 8+ months. I really did want a set but now other brands like Fikse and Forgeline have my attention, too.

Not sure exactly what you mean but BBS NA does not need a dime until they ship.

Local dealers in Aust asking for 100% upfront, no time or price guarantee, bought my e88s from John @werksperformance, small deposit to lock in the order but told to expect up to 12 months…

We love BBS and do everything we can to make it easier for everyone.

We sure miss the ol days when we would call in 3 orders in the morning and they would ship that afternoon.

Hopefully they will catch up and get stock levels up again so we can have quick deliveries again.
