Have the solder joints in your clock checked. The airbag circuits run through the clock.

Default Airbag light

964 airbag light can only be reset with hard to find Bosch 9288 Hammer diagnostic tool. Then it may not stay off. Best fix is order 964 Cup Car Bridge Plug 928 612 220 00. Easy install at steering wheel. Tells the dash there is no airbag but does not disable the airbag. Fixes it forever.

Slight correction unless something is different in other years: that plug installs in the center console, in front of the shifter, from the passenger side.

But yes, it works great.

Default Airbag light

Thanks for the correction. My mechanic did the work after I researched the part. My eyesight is not good enough for small stuff anymore. My mistake but a great fix after chasing it forever. All started when I had the canvas top on my America Roadster replaced. Somehow that set off the sensor. Thanks for the correction.

Both my airbag light and seatbelt light started going on at the same time. Any suggestions on that one?

As Rocket Rob and Ralph 3. already stated, the clock might be the cause for the Airbag light problem. Check this link: http://p-car.com/diy/clockrepair/
I had the same problem some years ago and after resoldering it never happened again.

Same thing happened with mine, both lights were on when I got the car. Repairing the clock fixed them.

Reviving for a related question. Should "someone" swap the clock with the battery connected and end up with the light on but no fault present, can Durametric with the 19 pin adapter reset the light?

Purchased one of these a while back, considerably less than a hammer.
