What does it take to change front suspension to inner settings?
I have a widebody (turbo-look) car and have converted the rear trailing arms to narrow body. I have been told that I can move the front suspension to the non-turbo (inner) settings. Just curious what this entails. Is this a straight forward change and are there any downsides?

Just move the bolts to theses positions. Crossmemebers are the same, A arms are the same. You may need different outer tie rods for the appropriate adjustability range. Check the PET to see if they're different.

Like Mikke, I am running the narrow body settings on a wide body. If you want to do the switch, you simply rotate the top mounts 180 degrees, move the longitudinals to the narrow setting, change the tie rods and sway bar.

It is 30mm per side difference. AFAIK all 993's use the inboard setting but the longitudinals are different pushing the track width out by 12.5mm per side over 964 NB inboard settings. I have driven on track with the 993 longitudinals in both NB and WB settings. IMO the car handles much better in the WB settings. I can only assume with the 964 longitudinals it would be even worse. Much more controllable and takes less effort in the turns with a manual rack with the WB settings.
