Default Finally, My Carrera 2 Arrived

It's here, my Baltic Blue 1990 C2. The color and paint are even nicer than expected. I immediately exchanged the 18" gold wheels for the 17" Fuchs with Michelin C4S tires. Here it is:

Welcome to the 964 family! Looks fantastic.
With the color and wheels, it's retro and sophisticated at the same time. 964s pull that off really well.
Great choice in rims, you going to change the seats also? 996 GT3 style?

How does she drive? Everything solid? Mods planned?

Thanks everyone. There’s plenty of work to do. Ride height for one, the seller had it slammed, I had him raise it in order to get It on a transport. The seats are 996 GT3 knock-offs, but look good. It needs a headliner, some shift linkage help, suspension bushings, etc. The bones are good, fresh paint, and a rebuilt motor—it’s a great start. I’ll leave It at my mechanic to go over and make a list. I’ve only driven it in my neighborhood briefly. I have to mail in my paperwork to the DMV for license and registration. That will be a week at least. I’ll give reports along the way. I’m sure there will be questions here to benefit from your experience.

Good looking car! I have a 1990 C4 in the same colour. Yours looks way better with the Fuchs wheels on. Looking forward to following what you get up to with it. Here’s a photo of mine.

The colour looks way better in diffused light.

bw--Those are my initials as well. Thanks, your car looks beautiful. Baltic Blue is one of those colors that can look quite different depending on light.

Beautiful car and welcome... some interior shots would be nice. I am curious about those seats? How do they fit in the car? Are they close at the top?
