I run 17's in the Summer and use my 16" wheels for my Winter tires. The Winter tires usually last about 6 season and I now need to replace them. As you all know who run 16s, the fronts are 205 55 16 and the rear are 225 50 16. It was never a problem finding Winter tires as long as I have had my 964, about 20 years until now. I can find the 205 55 but not the 225 50. Has anyone had the same challenge and if so have you found Winter tires in the correct sizes (without buying new wheels) and if so which tire?
