Very cool thread! I did the DE at Road America over Labor Day weekend and was only one of two 964's. Ironically, the other 964 was a 964 Cup! I hope to see more of these classic 911's out on track in the future:

There’s a Euro cup that still races locally. If you look at some of the videos from the Summit Point club race, you can see him. I’ve talked to him a couple times about it and he’s said people tell him all the time he’s crazy for still racing it. He says what else is he going to do with it, let it sit in the garage?
There’s also a couple with a 964 Cup and a 993 Cup that come to our DE events, and others in the NE I assume. I love looking at their cars.
Palmer had a Member day last Saturday. Three 964’s and one Cayman. What an awesome day. Sorry no photos in motion.
Wilbur’s first day at the track In good company with Felipe in his 964 Martini And Gary in the Targa. What a blast running with two other 964’s on an empty track.

That's outstanding, and couldn't agree more! I'm assuming it was the same couple out at Road America, I can't imagine there are too many of 964 and 993 Supercup driving couples out there. Such beautiful pieces of history that tell a better story on the track than in a garage!
