David, it looks like you missed your apex!
What width are your 18" rims? Are they 7 & 9 or 7.5 & 9.5 or otherwise? I'm also looking to see hwat the limits one can squeeze in without too much difficulty are (even though local PCA regs limit me to 7 and 9).

Can't drive fast at night if you can't see.
i was for the one lap 2003 - really a goofball idea - fun though blasting through Ok with the pod lights on (b roads only
and it gave new meaning to "Flash to pass"

You can not see the apex in the photo.
I run 8x18 50 mm offset and 10x18 65 mm offset with a 21mm spacer in the rear, which gives an effective offset of 44 mm.

David,
What tire brand are you running? Did you need to role the fender wells to accomodate that kind of meat?
Looks good!

I run 8 x 18 50 mm offset in the front and 10 X 18 65 mm offset in the rear with a 21mm spacer which gives you an offset of 44 mm (65-21=44). You must have rolled fenders or re-contoured fenders in the rear. In the front you will need to grind the joint where the fender and bumper bolt together in front of the tire. Just grind it back as close to the bolt as possible. You should also run longer studs in the rear and do not use the bolt-on style spacers. Also I fabricated a sheet metal plate to cover the oil line in the right rear wheel well.
I will be running 245/35/18 & 275/35/18 Hoosiers. You can fit a 285/30/18 in the rear with this setup. I Can Not recommend running the 285/30/18 Hoosier unless you run a minimum pressure of 42 psi hot. I like to run 36 psi hot and if you run this pressure, the 285/30/18 Hoosier shoulder WILL FAIL. It happened to me and others see this http://www.hoosiertire.com/pbP28518.HTM . I have also run the 285/30/18 MPSC. Keep in mind that my RS America is setup for the track with the appropriate springs, shocks and camber setting.

David,
Thanks, that just the info I was looking for.
(And I was pretty sure you hadn't reached it yet as there was no berm in the photo, just couldn't resist a friendly jab.)

Three Wheelin'
Greg,
Try to ignore the dust. The car just came out of Winter hibernation in my hangar so it's a MESS These are 285/30/18s per David K's specs (Thanks again David for the info!)
8x18 fronts, 50 offset, 10x18 rear, 63 offset w/21 mm spacer. The wheels came with 225/285 Sport Cups. I'm going to 235 or 245 fronts once these are gone.
I know what you mean about traction! I'm going to have my Kinesis wheels rebuilt on the back of the gray widebody to 11.5 so I can get some real rubber under there (335s hopefully). When it goes into boost, all hell breaks loose with the 285s I have on there right now. Good luck with your wheel search!

David,
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. Did messing with bar settings help at all or should I just toss the 225s? What kind of camber settings were you running? Thanks!
