Thanks for sharing again Thomas and thank you for letting me pick your brain in the other thread. In an effort to continue...
One thing that caught my eye was the cut off and relocation of the ABS. Can't say I've seen that mentioned before. Was the relocation just to shift weight forward or is there additional benefit?
Another was the 993 brake fluid reservoir... any advantage there? Required with the 993 MC?

No worries about picking my brain! Just glad to help and inspire!
TJ;
ABS - The cut off was done to give the drivers an option to turn off the ABS. I guess if maybe the track was bumpy and it didn't behave as the driver wanted or if you wanted to do a panic brake when going of. You just push the button and the ABS is instantly cut off. Pull it out and it's back on.
The relocation of the ABS unit up to the front beam was done to keep it more protected in a crash. They did hit each other with those cars! Maybe something for the weight too but I don't think so because the weight is no more than ~0,5 kg
In the picture the ABS unit sits at the stock location beacuse a spot welding holding the bracket had broken. But now it's fixed and the unit is back on the upper mount.
Reservoir: You change the cap and plumb the vent hose.Gives you a cleaner look and easier to bleed the brakes when you dont have to clamp the vent hose.You can buy the Porsche parts for this.

love your car
pretty close to mine - black 1990 C2 no sunroof, 1160KG and 294 HP on a very conservative Dyno, BUT 8 & 9,5 Cup I - love your BBS and they would be the only reason to change to 18 inch
Whenever you and your air-cooled friends are coming down from Stockholm you are most probably passing my hometown near Lübeck - you are invited for an espresso/cappuccino at my place,

How did I miss this.
Wow! Just wow! One of the best builds I’ve seen lately. The livery is perfect! Well done.
