My Cup tribute - update
Many of you have seen pics and info about my car but it’s been a while. And there are now other builds with a similar spec, like Spyrex car so I thought I could be fun with an update. The overall goal with this car was to build a Cup tribute more than a super correct replica. But the parts should be Porsche and as Cup or better. So many details are from Cup, but also RSR/Turbo or aftermarket if OEM parts are out of stock. I also want a “factory feel” meaning no flimsy plastic parts and everything is nicely done. It’s still road legal but very few miles on the road nowadays, 90% track use and it goes there on a trailer. The design/Wrap is new for this season. Enjoy pics and spec!......and yes...it drives like a dream!

I love it! Looks like are weight differences are probably due to the AC (that I kept)
My next step is re-gear my trans. Soon...

Thanks for your kind words guys! Glad you like it!
yes Roland, that could be something!. I visit the Ring almost every fall but not this year because the rennsport reunion was the priority. We are some 964 guys always doing a “fall tripp” going south and drive some of the Euro tracks like Hockenheim (my favourite), blister berg, zandvoort, spa etc and on these trips we always make a stop at the Ring.
