Thanks for sharing, I have saved your photos for future reference, they represent the purest form of 964. I want to emulate that exact same stance: sporty yet classy.

Really really nice

Never get used to the color....

Fixed my front bumper smile this weekend. I tried bending the tabs down, a little bit past horizontal, but I might have to tweak my adjustment some more...

Getting ready for a road trip this weekend. #targacarolina
Found these interesting seat covers. Could be good to have in case I need seat covers. Groovy man!

^^^ looks like the lower edge is fine. II suspect you have a broken tab on the black plastic mesh that holds the center bar in place.

You need to clean that left headlight and you've achieved perfection. ;)

I knew you were right as soon as I saw your post; I was in a rush at the end and remembered not fully seating the mesh panel.
Pressed against it last night and could feel an 8 inch section not fully connected to the lower bumper section. Will get that sorted.
Thanks for catching that!

#TargaCarolina weekend. 20+ Air cooled cars cruising around Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Probably did over 400+ group miles. Fantastic group (cars & guys)!

Looks like a nice time.

First weekend where it had finally cooled down noticeably.

Great pics! Something about the black car with the black wheels and the white one with the big flares does it for me!

Went back up to the mountains around Asheville for a bike ride and more mural hunting.
10+ hrs seat time, car is driving great with no issues.

This just happened?! My oldest, who's grown up in the 964, just drove it.

He's 15 now, with a learner's permit and it's an understatement to say that he's been waiting for a long time. He's been driving the auto Sportwagen, but hadn't tried stick yet.
I did a great job, and in some ways the 964 is the perfect first car to learn in (if it wasn't worth so much now), given the combination of the engine's low-end torque and smooth shifting trans (all parts recently upgraded).
I know some of you might be thinking, "no way in hell would let my kid drive a 964", and I totally get that, each situation is different.
It hit me later, I now have a new back road driving buddy. He used to stay home during my previous back road adventures, now with the lure of the keys, we might be going on more drives together.
They grow up fast. #sportscartogether

My son learned on a base boxster I had for a 6 month bridge to a Macan lease. It was the perfect starter car. He quickly wanted to drive the 964 which he still wants to take out but gets the Boxster GTS instead. I guess I'm a bad dad. LOL

I learned on my father’s 993 when it was the current model which makes it even cooler that I now own one. Hope to teach my kids on my 993 one day (about 10 years from now).

That's awesome, and definitely not crazy of you. Cars are just cars - even these ones. Your son is your son and will remember learning with you on the 964 forever.
My Pop taught me on his '72 Corvette. Sometimes the Funday car is the only one around with three pedals.
