A C2 with those miles that is clean, well maintained and never been in a wreck is worth $50,000. I think in this case white is relatively rare and adds to the value.
Advise your friend on what he has and tell him you either can or can’t afford $50,000.
Offer to buy it for what is willing to sell it to you for and then commit to keeping it as opposed to flipping it.
Or offer to help him sell it and split anything more than $29,000 you can get. If he agrees to this offer, post the on Bring A Trailor. Instead of you being $20,000 richer, you’ll both be $10,000 richer and you’ll still be friends.
If you can take the car from him guilt free for $29,000 knowing it is worth $20,000 more, you aren’t truly his friend.

So the post by DoninDen is spot on.
How good of a friend is he/she?
Do you run in the same circle of friends?
Cause if he is a good friend there will be resentment when he finds out just how much that car is worth and IMHO you are not a true friend if you do not make him/her aware of it.

Buy “Essential Buyers Guide 911 - 964” great source. Available on Kindle too.
Lastly, Having owned a 993 and HB seats, they are not 993 HB seats. I think someone mentioned they may be 996 seats.
