Default ‘93 RSA- Rolling Art - Updated

For starters, wanted to thank the RL community and members which have provided great education and inspiration concerning all things air ( and only SOME water) cooled.

After taking her her out on her maiden ( to me at least) voyage—

It was apparent that she was good and near great, but far from what she could be....

So so we started by keeping things simple- focus on improving the driver and sharing the passion for the car.

Up up and down we went——

Fast in slow out. Fast in slow out. Fast in slow out. Slow in fast out. Got it.

Driver - improved. Check.

Part 2- Sharing is Caring

First Porsche experience- I’d say Jody liked it

Now that we have the proper ethos- the build can proceed accordingly.

I knew that the car needed to feel more responsive and visceral so I began to re-design her from the bottom
up.

On tap tap was a suspension refresh and something to improve the slop of the OEM gearbox.

so jewelry for the bottom—-

And for the top—

More work to do.
Frunk. Rain gutters.
Steering wheel. Wheels. Flywheels. Feels like I am going around in circles

stay tuned...

Very nice car, great mods, the shifter is awesome.
interested to see picture and hear your experience on the gutters delete, more people are going that route, just missed the slot deleting my sunroof.
good luck

Default Project frunk

Hmmm.... this doesn’t look right....

Amplifier? C’mon man!! Gots to go!!!

Radio too. But weight, no radio removal tool! Off to
the workshop 😂

This represents function over function. Where there’s a will....

There’s weight loss 👽👽

now for the frunk-

I personally feel faster already.

Ohlins and shifter are art by themselves. very nice. Are these the same Ohlins as used on the singers?

appreciate the kind words.

Yes re: Singer. Wonderful craftsmanship.

It’s a shame they are on the bottom

So much more work to be done but what an awesome platform the 964 provides!

The CAE practically doubled the fun of the car;

Default Passion & Purpose

Still more work ahead as I prepare to clean up and lighten the frunk—- 35 lb penalty for the Diehard battery is a no go.

Enter Voltphreaks—-

Sub 6 lbs w on/off and low voltage cutoff. Ideal.

So so that’s the purpose.

Enter passion.

The desire to create art is borne out of An Xtreme quest for a more perfect form. No arguments here:

Default Welcome MOTEC & Injector Dynamics

As we know, Motronic just isn’t sufficient for where we are going. So into the OR she goes—-

All packed up with her lightweight flywheel and away she goes for some Motec loving
