Default cross country Gotham to La La Land

started my west bound Journey to LA LA LAND today. Dont really have a plan. Just need to get to LA as soon as possible. Since I only have 1 week. As you can see, I packed every inch of the cabin and frunk. quite a bit of stuff including the bike. Not the most practical car for this trip, but i can't ask for a better car than this

mainly staying on i70 until I hit Colorado. Then the fun starts there.

That's awesome - be safe!

I purchased my 993 in Seattle 12 years ago. Hopped in and drove it back to Maryland - via Canada.

Have a safe and fun trip. I drove my cabrio from SF to Boston back in 2005. It was a fun trip. The 964's are great touring cars.

LOVE Waze, especially on roads with lots of other Waze users looking out for each other!

Just in case you need help in Kansas, my dad lives just south of Salina (on HWY 70, middle of the state).

This was our route from NY to LA this May - took 6 days total. 3 long days from NY to Sedona, AZ and then 3 days playing in the Southwest. It was an amazing trip!

Nice! And I love seeing your road bike on top (something I used to do all the time).

You mentioned some fun planned for Colorado. Do yourself a favor and get off I-70. At the very least, take 285 south from Denver and then go west on 50.

Here I am Day 2 in Indianapolis. Drove 650 miles from Philly. My butt hurts. My back hurts. I am hurting all over. gonna have to take it easy tomorrow.

Car performed flawlessly. Ac is okay in the hottest hour. Gets chill at night. Bike mount performs like a champ.

the tape i used to protect the bumper is POS. They are ruined in the first day.

one problem towards the end of the day. Why are there water dripping from dash above the gas pedal?

Assuming no rain or car wash, if there was no water dripping prior to AC fix, then most likely it is water from AC hose condensation. Happened to me on my 3.2 RHD, water dripping onto my passenger seat (driver seat on LHD).

Go west young man.

Seems to be the motto. Everyone is picking up and moving to CA. Sorry to see you go. Wish you the best and say hi when you're back in town visiting your parents.
