factory rebuilt engines?
To anyone,
A few years ago someone put up a source for factory rebuilt 964 engines but I can't find that old thread. Does anyone know anything about these? Is there a part number?

As the often frazzled father of 3 small children, I frequently tell myself: "Well, at least they weren't born all at the same time!" WOW-triplets! It is a miracle you find time to post let alone drive the 964!

Hello,
Dealer cost for part #964.100.964.X is $7721.94. A year or so ago when I was looking I called a few dealers and the cheapest price I could find was Sunset Porsche in Oregon, they wanted I think $8880. Obviously try one of the rennlist sponsors they might price match. Definitely call around, the not-so-local dealer here in western Mass wanted over $15k. A list of remanufactured parts available from Porsche is located HERE
good luck,

Gavin,
Congratulations. Is that the oh so comfy chair that folds out to a not so comfy bed? Enjoy the hospital nursery while you can!

Thanks you guys for your replies
Thanks everyone for your replies and the info. You will understand that I have been unable to log on and check for replies for a few days. Just wait, I am already planning to weld attachments to my cage to get 3 baby seats in my 964!
