Default Injector placement question

I'm looking at some ITBs and they have an injector ports on the throttle bodies. will it make any difference if they're just after the throttle plate or right at the head?

in general injectors closer to the valve are better for idle to low-mid rpm, further away is intended for higher rpm like bikes (assuming thats where your itbs come from) would run (10-14k rpm).

Nah these are just generic ones. Some i've seen are carb replacements like DCOE or IDA & IDF. i've also seen billet blocks for $100 each that also have the injector on the block.

You're best off having them close the valve. You want the fuel to hit the hot (closed) valve and evaporate quickly before it opens. You also will have wall-wetting the farther away they are. With today's injectors and their better spray patterns this is overall the path of least resistance.

Maybe you've seen these but they sure look as simple as it gets.

These also: Jenvey throttle bodies then you can use the stock fuel rail and injectors once you cut down the intake.

Ive looked at them too.
I have thought about just cutting down an intake many times. Probably the easiest way.

These are what i was looking at.

If you talk about 924 then it is better to put them onto the throttle bodies. For several reasons: throttles have proper EFI injector provisions, 924 head requires modified insert and it still has issues (sometimes not sealing equally), also injector nozzle is on the "pipe" which affects spray pattern. There are injectors with long nozzles but never seen them with sufficient flow rate yet (there are suitable ones for N/A though).
There are no issues at all when using injectors just 5-6 cm further upstream. We are not talking upstream like spraying into trumpet or something
