Default Technical Discussion of the K26/9 Billet Hybrid Turbo

Greetings everyone. I will start this thread by mentioning I have created a new benchmark for K26 turbochargers for my 944 turbo. This thread is SOLEY to show off some of the unique aspects of this turbo. Additional discussion on Facebook, thanks.

What kind of power and spool characteristics are you expecting? What supporting mods would be required to run this?

90Whp improvement @ 2000 RPMs but stock fuel system ran out of juice around 4000 RPMs so throttle was cut. Plan is to install M-tune with 80lb injectors and re-dyno the car.
This turbo makes 4 PSI of boost in neutral revving the engine without any load, it is a spooling machine!
If you haven't already, join the 944 turbo Facebook group with 4000+ active members, additional discussion there.

Unfortunately I don't have face book. Please keep this thread updated.

I take it the stick j-boot can not be used with this turbo?

FB link will not work unless you are a member of the group. Search for "944 turbo group" and join the one with over 4000 members.
