URG8RB8 - any timeframe on when you might be looking to produce the Nissan alternator mount? I'd be all in on that!!! Been wanting the CEP mount for years...

Not sure what the design would look like. I've had an extra stock mount for a while but haven't gotten around to spending the time to grind/test fit/grind/test fit/… I think there might be an opportunity here for someone to put together kits with mounting brackets and plug and play wiring adapters for the smaller alternators. I would think the majority of folks would want it to work with the A/C compressor and stock belt adjustment method. I believe CEP's mount will let you mount the stock alternator or the Nissan but not sure if that's necessary.. It's been a while (too long) since I've had time to even look at my 951, but I know this is something I want when I get back to her.

I sympathise. Just didn't understand what you were saying or why...but I get the frustration. Been through it. Could be much worse of course but would still pi$$ me off.

Sorry guys, almost never on this site anymore. I offered to refund anybody their money back out of my pocket a very long time ago. If you didn't reach out to me then I might have missed you. Yes this guy is a douchebag, but I did everything I could to rectify this issue. I even had a ten times better replacement made that is now available immediately through Jan at JFT.

Sam:

Yes, I introduced Jan to Pete and set up him as the US distributor, but that deal has soured so I may take over that, not sure. I don't have time to sell things to be honest. The combo package from Pete was a great deal, cam and ACG. Pete and I developed at new Stage 2 951 cam that is awesome.

What is not work now? The availability at RS barn or the machining of the parts from Jan?

Just a small disagreement, hopefully it gets worked out. Parts are always available directly from Jan, but difficult with the overseas shipping and customs stuff.

Hope so. I bought the ACG from Pete for my NA racecar a while back. Was planning on the combo ACG & camshaft deal for my turbo later this year. I have to say Jan was super helpful in answering a few questions for me about the gear that Pete didn't know.

Then it should not affect you either way, Pete makes the cams and Jan makes the gears.

Hi

this “trustworthy” engineer still did not fulfill his promise.

I paid for set of pulleys in 2016 directly after topic about his gears / pulleys.

All the time only @ how he is busy and parts are almost ready…

Just to inform You all. Be aware of this person.

Scam. Nothing else comes to my mind.
