Just called him David, after your Post actually. He is very apologetic and said he too is embarrassed. Promises he is still working on them and playing with revisions. Told me much sooner than later but provided no date. Wish I had better news, but can only give what I get. Been so long that they should come with free BJ's from Miss Universe, but that isn't going to happen either. Thankful at this point that I still get a response.

No reflection on you Eric, I appreciate that you’ve taken time and effort to try and put this together. Personally I’m just not interested in doing business with him anymore.

They are not even remotely comparable, that Dial A Gear thing is just a band aide until I can get Jeff to complete his design or pay a ****load of money to get him to give me drawings so I can get it made elsewhere. I have zero intentions of making these and selling anything. I don't need money, I was just trying to help out and thought others would like this truly unique concept. It will be adjustable on the fly, that is crucial to me.

Don't know how quick you want to adjust timing, but the Dial-a-cam can be set from any position to any other degree position in about 2 minutes, once you get the distributor cover off the front.
Loosen the 3 slot screws and remove the "degree lock bolt", brush the threads off and apply new blue loctite, rotate the gear/hub to your desired advance/retard, re-insert locking bolt and tighten slot screws, done.
But if you want to blow time and money to do something the hard way for "bling", go right ahead.

No problem Dave, not if but when, he will finish just don't know when. He promised without a doubt before Thanksgiving the other night, I will only believe it when I see it though.
