Default 16V Turbo Valve options

Besides Ferrea, what have folks used?

Ferrea prices aren't too bad but wondering what other options I can weigh them against, if anything.

You can order custom valves.

It very much depends on what your desired use is. For street use, where the engine will see WOT for short bursts, usually under 10 seconds, the stock exhaust valves are sufficient. Ceramic coating isn't a bad idea and I'm sure is more cost effective than new custom valves. SSI makes stainless steel valves for the 944/968 but IIRC they are $50/ea, so it's a quick way to blow through $800. If you are building a race or track oriented motor then there is no real reason to stick with the stock valves.

928 motorsports sells hi-po valves that fit our 16v heads.
and they come in "pairs" so you can split the cost with a friend...

Well just so I understand all the options,
Replacement valves I get.

Exactly what/which ceramic coating are we talking about? What did it cost for the 8 exhaust valves?

any reputable coating shop can do ceramic coating on the valves its change money, mine was done by Swains so I got the valves and piston tops ceramic coated at the same time. Valves were about $12 each.
