We are going dual oval. We are going to reconfigure the X pipe and send the exhaust out the passenger side in front of the wheel.

I had to do this with intercooler piping to fit on my 944's unique front structure. The benefit is, it sure makes all the plumbing look beefy

Still working on my 3.3l. Lots of changes since I had her running last
- full custom exhaust
- gtx3582r with tial mount
- tec3 standalone
- custom wiring harness
- fiberglass racing dash
- all speedhut gauges
- painted interior
- headlight delete nose panel
- good aero wing/splitter
- custom dive planes

Can't wait to get her on the track

Thanks, headlights I made myself. IPF high and low for the lights. Lenses from a D9 dual gts kit. Would not recommend D9.

My never ending project.
Goes in to get ECU DASH and PDM wired up next week.
Intake manifold is away getting extrude honed.
Back on the dyno then to get the ECU map done.
Should get it back on the race track end of next month.

Looking good Jarod. Make sure you have the intake cleaned thoroughly after the extrude hone. If some of the paste / junk remains inside it can have dire consequences. Like the progress of your car! Are you allowed to run a non stock intake?

I'll be running the car in the sports cars category. So it should have the stock intake manifold. I would have brought the Lindsay racing manifold but I have spent more than enough at the moment. Yeah I can imagine what any stray extrude putty would do.
I thought that it should improve the runner imbalance slightly once it has been cleaned up.
Should be back on the dyno in a few weeks so it will be interesting to see what gains there will be with the Motec, coil packs, intake manifold.

Should be more drive-able anyway. The power came on like a sledgehammer before

Love your car Jarrod! As usual all the cool cars are down south

I have a couple questions for you...

Was that dyno plot done in 4th? If so, 120km/h should be about 3500rpm. 350hp and full boost before 3500rpm are pretty much my exact goals for my engine.

I'm curious, what turbo are you using and how much boost are you running?

Thanks mate. Yeah I think it was done in 4th gear.
Yes boost comes on around 3500rm. I have the web cam from Lindsey racing
We adjusted the cam gear to bring the power curve down a bit also.
That dyno run was when we converted to E85.
Factory ECU, Lindsey racing MAF and Chips.
Run was done at 20psi boost.
I had issues with the factory clutch slipping on this run. I have since changed to the spec mini twin.
I have no idea what the exact turbo specs are sorry. I think it's based on the Lindsey super 61. Bushed as they didn't have any TBB cores at the time. I sent the factory turbo down to GCG turbos. They built one up for me.
They used the K26 turbine housing but hi flowed it.

Cheers for the info mate.

How much did the turbo work set you back? I might do the same if it ends up being more cost effective than buying say a Lindsey Super 48 or a Vitesse stage 3 if I can find one. Only thing is I have the k26/6, and I think most aftermarket turbo's are built with the 8 exhaust housing.

I also like that they welded on the v-band flange...is the exhaust housing inlet v-band as well? Those bolts are a pain in the **** even with the engine out!

Be very very careful, the EH intake ruined both mine and Devon's engine. Mine told me that EH would not do these again ever, but I see they found another taker. I left my intake with EH for two months after they ruined my engine and they told me they could not remove all the residue between the runners in the vacuum port area and to not use the manifold. They tried every sort of ultrasonic cleaning. So, good luck you have been warned. Call Mike and talk to him.

I had the K26/6 turbo. I think they used the turbine housing from that. The dump is V Band but the turbine intake is standard. Don't worry it was still a bastard to get on hahaha. Much easier once I removed the brake booster though!!!!!
Yeah I was wondering why the LR extrude honed intake disappeared.
I'm getting mine done by specialised power porting in Ballarat AUSTRALIA.
I have plugs in the vacuum port area so I can remove them and pressure clean them with hot water.

I had my intake honed in Australia, I think it was the the same place, I had no problems, they evened up the flow as well as improving the flow.

Do you think you got much HP gain from the intake hone??
Will be interesting to see what difference it makes, but I cant directly compare as I have
done so many other changes also

Yes similarly I didn't do it in isolation, I think I did some mild porting then as well, hard to really say how improvement it made.
