Just finish about half hour ago.Put in the bigger fuel pump"Blue",New fuel filter,Regulator"Blue",and the rail itself.There are no directions that come with the kit.I have an extra vacuum line.One line was going to the old regulator I put that line on the new one. the other goes to the Vacuum advance i think so where does it go now?I will have to caontact Dave about it.Other then that it looks great.oh one of the Brackets from the rail to the head did not line up exactly I had to enlarge a clearance hole for the screw to go in no big whoop.

Why what my new rail used a differant regulator.

all the original peices must be updated to the new fuel rail design.that means new fpr and such.but not coming with instructions is kinda F*&%# up?for a new fuel rail for that price they'd at least give some paper instructions.keep up updated!pz

Thomas great to hear. You state that you ended up with an extra vacuum line? I take it the dampner on the back of the rail does not have a need for the vacuum line?

How did you get your lines finished,,,how were the fittings that were used on the factory hard lines - getting them out of the engine compartment and down below- how did they connect to the new fittings, any problems?

Ok I will try to get all questions.First Luke Why a differant rail it looks so cool.Mike I dont have a dig cammera"I have 40 grand in the car but no cammera"Sry.Ski, The dampner has no vac conection I dont even know what it does.I used a small pipe cutter to cut fuel lines one was easy the other had me cursing but you can do it with the play in the line just move it around and take off the plastic protection around the whole then put it back when you get it.I dont like compresion fitting becasue they will leak if you dont crank down hard and get them in just right.but once they are in there in.All the fittins fit nice the lines match up well if you use there location.I did you will have to bend the bracket that mounts the regulator and drill some hole to mount it which means you have to move the battery out for the project to be done.My whole house smells like gasoline I think I am high from it.I still wont start the car till i talk to dave about the other line and till the gas fumes leave.It does look real nice.i am not a fan of company names on my parts but It still looks good.I hope I got all questions if ask more.Thanks

Looks like I will be redoing my fuel rail.2 of the injectors leak,and the compression fitting on the supply leaks.Make sure to grease the orings on the injectors.and also make sure the compression Ferrel goes on all the way.I did this and it still leaks.But maybe I will get it tomorrow.

"jwl" got his this afternoon, he is very impressed with the quality. I'm not sure if he is going to put it on his car this weekend or wait until we put the Vitesse Stage II on next month. I plan on installing mine when I get home this weekend; well I hope it's there.

I've never seen a rail at fault for an engine fire.
