Porting the Revline intake. Tomorrow it goes to powder coat.

How is the transition from oval to round made on revline intake? I'm trying to build something similar but don't know how to do that part..

There is a bridge piece to make the transition. It looks CNC machined, very nicely done.

Clayed the valves. Although not a non-interference design, I have plenty of clearance. Been quite a learning curve with the 16V head. Took me a while to figure out how to install the cams with the Variocam. Motor should be together this weekend

How did you go about timing the cams (setting the little bit of lift at TDC)?
Dial gauges, or other?

I have not precisely set the cam timing yet. I have a ton a margin. I worst cased the cams and I am still good by a lot. I found this helpful however as the manual was pretty confusing:
