My thinking was to drill and tap for 1/4-28 fine pitch set screws, but have them bottom out with enough height remaining so that when I machine them off flush with the FW OD, it would leave perfectly round 1/4" steel pick up points. That was a mouthful and a run on sentence. I would think this would work fine, but I have no personal experience and looks like Gustaf has already tried this approach.
The 1st photo shows where the reference magnets that were inserted in the cam sprocket, they are the black dots and there are 8 of them.
The second blurry one also shows the sync magnet where the points were.
The 3rd shows how the sensors are mounted.

Isn't this thread going way of topic . Start a new thread about crank and flywheel trigger solutions. Not trying to be a d but I am actually very interested in this clutch package and while subscribed i get notifications and want to read the topic.

Parts have been listed and prices posted on the Lindsey site...but pictures seem broken?

about $1300 for a stage I clutch kit with new flywheel and TOB...which is right there with a "regular" clutch kit.
Looking forward to more...

I'm using this flywheel with the factory 968 trigger sensor. We decided to use stronger bolts in the highly stressed areas of the flywheel. Nice to have a replaceable friction plate. The 993TT sport clutch is holding up very well, zero chatter etc. http://www.rsbarn.com/catalog/index....products_id=87
It would be easier to machine a factory 951 flywheel. Many have done this with great success.

Luis sent me a link to Patrick Motorsports last night and the aluminum 968 FW with the 60-2 ring looks awesome! How difficult to fit this to a 951? Is it worth the effort? I have always wanted to switch to the quick clutch swap 968 bell housing anyway. I think George D has done this.

Spoke to Mike yesterday, most likely the new clutch won't fit my TTV flywheel. We are going to ask for dimensional data so I can have TTV accommodate the new style clutch.

Our first shipment of these new kits is due to arrive here on Thursday. Because this thread has gotten pretty far off track, we will start a new thread. Time permitting, we will post some pictures Thursday.
We are very excited about this new kit. So is SPEC.
