Yes capacity is your friend, and it helps on the curve as well. I've seen a few engines get more out of this turbo, but we are playing it a bit safe with the tune.

Good to see the car is back moving Rod. Did you have to go back to single large injs due to space constrictions on that side of the motor? Assuming the HP figures are also to the rear wheels? It shows the (W) in the TQ figures but not on the hp for some reason. Was this in 5th gear? What tyres did you use on the dyno? R spec or slicks? Both will produce wheelspin on the dyno as they heat up too much in my experience. Great to see there's more potential with a safe tune. When are you back on the track testing?

Thanks Patrick, we could have made a new inlet manifold, but it was pretty simple to try the one set of larger injectors, it's not ideal but they should be fine for our purposes ( wot high revs)
Yes wheel figures 5th gear, we used r-specs, not ideal. Hopefully next week we will test.

Yes, that makes more sense. I recall seeing how tight it was in there with the Intake on that side.
Testing at WP or EC?

i know the Buchanans drive their whips, but I never really figure if Patrick or Rod here are the drivers. maybe I've missed it along the way.
Though I could see Patrick being the guy who just wants to constantly try new things/tinker because he's done like 4 engine builds in the last 5 years

the reason i asked was that it's never really been clear to me if these high-dollar crazy Aussie builds are built for the owner to enjoy/compete with, or if they just finance the things for another driver...

But it's built for PRO class in WTAC. It is quite a big deal race. It's objective is 1 fast lap. It will go though 1 set of tyres on 1 fast lap.
Patricks car on the other hand is in Open class car. Inbetween what i'm building (club sprint) and pro. Same objective. Just less aero. But he doesn't need a pro driver, if he wants he can drive it him self at WTAC. When it's running again, I believe he'll be entering some more sprint days again with it.
Theres one guy, Under Suzuki (that's his name) he built his s15 and drives it him self in PRO class. He is a pro driver though and he finished 3rd this year behind this car.
I can't explain WTAC in sydney. It's something you need to experience. It's like no other race.
